General Construction • Floor joists 2"x12", 16" on center • Sub floor is 3⁄4" T-G Advantech glued and nailed • Exterior walls are constructed of 2"x4" studs on center 16" with 1⁄2" plywood or Advantech boxing • Interior walls are 2"x4" on center 16" with 1⁄2" sheetrock painted with two coats of latex paint, your choice of paint color • Ceilings are 1⁄2" sheetrock and are textured • The roof structure is composed of 4"x12" pitch truss frame rafters, 5⁄8" cd plywood or Advantech sheathing, 30 lb. felt, asphalt, three tab shingles and gable vents • Face board is 2"x8" redwood or rough cedar • The roofline soffit is 36", 3⁄8" AC plywood • Gable soffit is 24", 3⁄8" AC plywood • Exterior siding is Hardi plank 8" lap painted two coats • Insulation is R38 in the ceiling and R13 in walls • Windows are Pella® or Anderson® casement • Storm doors are Humphrey 2 lite with grill • Exterior doors are 13⁄4" solid core oak • Interior doors are 13⁄8" hollow core oak • Trim wood is oak • Cabinets are custom built oak with Formica counter tops and tile backsplash • Wood finishes are stained and sealed with two coats of lacquer Pella and Anderson are registered trademarks of Pella Window Co., Inc and Anderson Window Co., Inc. respectively.
